In bowl, combine bananas, flour, baking powder, 2 tbsp. sugar, cinnamon, and egg. Stir well.
Pour 1/2 inch of oil in large frying pan. Heat to medium heat for about 4 minutes.
Drop spoonfuls of dough into oil and fry for 2-3 minutes, flipping sides. (Be careful-- oil is extremely hot!)
Remove fritters and drain grease on paper towels. Sprinkle with remaining sugar.
