Banana Split Cake

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 small box of instant banana pudding
  • 3 eggs
  • 1-1/3 cup water
  • 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping
  • 1 small package frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 1/2 cup hot fudge topping
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first 5 ingredients together. Pour into 2 9 inch round cake pans. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until knife comes out clean.

  2. Mix 1/3 of whipped topping with strawberries.  Use as icing, between layers of cake.

  3. Use remaining whipped topping as icing for cake.  Drizzle hot fudge topping over whipped topping.  Sprinkle nuts on top.  Spread cherries to top.
